Finally we discussed a number of other
products including his dry nitrous setup and his steering damper product. The
nitrous product appears to work nicely for a street rod for occasional blast but
my guess is that it wouldn’t work as well for a serious drag racing setup, where
a wet system with a progressive controller would better meet the demands. Steve
tells me that the steering damper has been a hot seller, going out the door as
fast as he can produce them. It is on my parts list for next year’s set-up.
It was great t catch up with Steve and I was glad
to hear that things have gone well for this business. This was the first
business that I know of that was created to specialize in VRod products and they
have built a strong reputation around customer service. The business has grown
and he now has five people on his staff.
I hope that 2005 will be a great year for VMod.com and I know that I will be
ordering a few of those parts in the near future. Steve, Keep up the great work
and best wishes from www.vrodracing.com. |
